Heyo!

Heyo!

So sorry for not posting for so long, but now that it's summer and my youngest owner can finally edit my posts, Im ready to post more, like 2-3 times a week!

Anyways, today while my owners were taking me for a walk, I finally got to swim by myself.
My youngest owner was a bit unsure if I should go swim by myself, while I was thinking:
"I'M A FREAKING GOLDEN RETRIEVER! JUST LET ME SWIM1"

Finally they let me in. I pictured it to be like this:

Calm, happy

But it ended up making me smell like some rotten McDonald's Chicken Nuggets... which made some of my owners a bit cranky.

During the walk I even ran into one of my friend Duke!

Oops, wrong Duke:

THis Duke!

Yup, the dog's name is Duke. I've learned it's because Duke's owner was born and raised in Russia, and I THINK their owner only knew the English word 'Duke'. Cool name right?

Anyways, I apologize for not posting fro so long!

Heyo!

So sorry for not posting fro so long!

But I have really great news!

First of all, my youngest owner does figure skating, and she does figure (solo) and synchronized skating.
So a few weeks ago, the team had won second place, and at another competition, they won 1st place, and their picture was on the local newspaper!
The picture of the team got on the local newspaper since one of the teammates has a dad who is something like a photographer or writer for the local newspaper.

The second news is the best news, and this 'news' is that it's almost SUMMER!!!
I'm so excited for the new season, I can finally go and swim as much as I want, and best of all, have more time with my youngest owner!
She's still pretty sad about leaving school, especially when this teacher was really nice.

That's all the good news, and I think I will just tell you about today..

today was pretty normal as always, I walked off leash at the forest, swam in the lake, and stayed home alone for at least 2 hours, chewing my marrowbone.

And this is me now:

Lying down and bored...

Anyways,

Memory of Barely the Golden REtriever

Heyo!

Very sad news today, a few weeks ago one of my best friends had died of cancer.
I was deeply said to lose such a good friend and playmate, I will take memory of him on this post.

Barely was a handsome dog, he was kind, fun, and full of energy. He would always jump with joy whenever he saw me.
He had the heart of an angel and a little boy. I remember playing with him in the woods, running through the trees, onto rocks, then to our owners until we were tired. His little brother, Stanley, is a mini version of him, and we both miss him dearly.

But right now Barely is in a new world, in heaven, where he won't suffer anymore pain

I hope we all pray for happiness within him!

I will remember his playfulness and kindness!

Are Dogs Smart? My Youngest Owner's Answer

Heyo!
So just from reading the title, you can easily tell what this post is going to be about.
The answer to the question was very tricky as well, it took a while to think about it too..

Finally, my owner got the answer, and it was half yes and half no.

'Yes' because dogs know how to enjoy life even when going through tough times,
we can quickly learn new tricks and us dogs are eager for attention.
We try to bear the feeling of no attention as well, even at times when we want it.
When someone breathes really bad breathe in our faces, we still accept their kindness.

'No' since we're not really great in academics unless we are trained.
My youngest owner thinks this since she has high scores in academics.

There is not that much to why we aren't smart though we are smart at the same time.

Dogs are lovers, forgivers, and huggers. We love our owners no matter what and always protect and comfort them even at the roughest time of life. Dogs love to socialize, play, have fun, and be happy to help others. Though we are all different, no matter what we will not stop our generations and generations of loving, caring, bringing joy, and having fun in life.

Funny Video and MORE!

Heyo!

So today, I first want to show you a video called "Guilty Dog".

It's a hilarious video of a lab (that looks like me) that actually smiles when it's owner asks if Denver (the lab) ate the kitty-cat treats!

Lets start this post wit a good look at "GUILTY DOG"

Now that you have watched it, I randomly want to show you a picture of me wearing headphones and glasses!

As you can see it was from facebook, and yes, is there anything bad about a Golden Retriever reading The Yearling?

By the way a quick apology of not posting fro 2 weeks, it's just that I've been really busy with all my training since I've been getting a bit hyper lately (But not barking)

And lately, I've made 2 new friends from the park, another two GOLDEN RETRIEVERS! But... I sort of forgot their names, I remember one of their names is Bradley...

Here's some pictures of how they might look like:

ANd One MORE

Just like me, they act like little boys, following people who have treats and are very well trained.

I hope you guys liked it, and thanks!

My Little Siblings

Heyo!

So yesterday, I had met my little Golden Retriever siblings for the second time.
It was really fun to have a reunion.

All we did was play boisterously with each other, sniffing, tumbling, and a lot more :\.
I remember some of their names, there was Josephine, Wellsabee, Eliott, Miranda, and many more (Sorry that I couldn't say all their names, it was a litter of 24 puppies, Tess gave birth to 12 of them, Emma gave birth to the other 12).

Here are some pictures!

There's me with the blue leash!

The light colored one is Eliott.

Me again! We're all looking up because my former owner has a treat in her hand.

This is Miranda, my great-grandmother. She's 10 years old, really old too, at least 70 years old in dog years. She has a large tumor in her liver, really sad. The doctor says she might be put to sleep any day:(

SOme more pictures.

That dog with the dark fur is like a mini Phoebe. (Phoebe is a Golden Retriever).
SO this Phoebe is sort of my distant cousin, and she loves the attention, for example,
if you paid attention to someone else, she would get right in your way!

Anyways, I gotta go!

Snow!

Heyo!

So yesterday, there was a big snowstorm hitting the northeast, the places where I live.
So when the snow stopped, my youngest owner decided to go sledding.
While my youngest owner was sledding away, I was playing with American Eskimo named Tye.

When we were playing, we pretended to bite and scare each other!

Here's a pic!:

Yup, I'm lying down beside him, he's pretending to bite me.

Me and him are A LOT alike!

First of all, our fur is the color of either biscuit or cream (but mine is a little bit darker)

We're both 15-16 months, both born in November (Tye was born on November 6th, 2011, I was born November 21st, 2011) . We're both males too!

This dog sorta reminds me of Lukey, the quirky yet loud dog. Only the dog in this picture, Tye, is more calm and has more of a wider muzzle.

We both had a lot of fun!

By the way, one of the New Year Resolution plans are done, retrieving!
I knew it would be so easy, I'm a Golden Retriever anyways!

That's it for now, as I always say!
