The Training/New Year Resolutions

Since I'm trained to be a Therapy dog, my youngest owner has been training me to sit, stay, down and come. I already know how to sit and go down, the stay, I'm still learning and mastering it already.
And my youngest owner's parent wanted to take a picture of me with my head tilted up, so here's the picture, it was took at Christmas :D:

I was coaxed by a pice of string cheese. Yes, dogs can eat cheese but not the other dairy products.

I look different in this picture... I look younger!(I'm 13 months old though).

I'm going off topic, so back to the Therapy dog trainings.
As I said, I'm currently mastering the sit and stay/down and stay. Pretty soon, I'm going to learn how to (What my youngest owner calls) 'Paw' five and 'Paw' Shake.
Really it means that I'm going to high-five and shake paws with my owner. :D
A few more things I will have to be trained to do is also:

• Roll-over

•Retrieve (I'm a Golden Retriever, this must be easy!)

•Bark twice at no

•Bark once at yes

•Watch TV (I do sometimes, but not all the time)

•Not jumping on the bed (Nice choice)

•Not to pull on the leash

•To heel and stay by owner's side

I think that's it. :)

So it's at least 1-2 more days until it's 2013! I'm very excited, plus it's going to be the year when I'm turning 2, in dog years it would mean I'm almost a young adult! :D
I have a lot of things I'm looking forward too, and I want to meet my breeder sometime during the summer.
I have at least a few New Year Resolutions....

• Try not to sleep too much (Im just lazy)

•Not to bark at the neighbor's dog when they bully me

•Get more quiet and calmer

•Start the Therapy Dog reputation!

My resolutions are going to be pretty hard for me...
I would just like to say HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
And... wow... my longest post...

And I have just received another present, and it's on my blog.
A new member!

Thank you for following, nice profile pic too.
I remember I saw you on Encourage One Another's blog.

So right now, my youngest owner who is also the author of this blog is training me to be a therapy dog.
Yep, I'm actually pretty calm for a dog. I never bark either. Normally I bark when I'm impatient, which rarely happens.
My type of breed is also known to be a therapy type too...
Anyways, I hope you guys have a great NEW YEAR! :D

The New Friend/ Merry Christmas!

Sorry that I hadn't posted for so long.
I had just figured out that I had made a new friend at the park.
It all started on the last Thursday of November, I had met a Goldendoodle named Steve.

He was big and shaggy and very curly. He barked at me while I just panted and smiled in happiness.
Right now he's in New York with his owner, so now I play with other dogs I know.

By the way, today is one of my most favorite holidays, CHRISTMAS!!!
My owner got me a squeaky elephant toy.
Hehe, it was very addicting, and I normally keep it as my sleep toy whenever I take my daily naps.

So just a picture of me to say Merry Christmas!!

Enjoy the New Year and have a Merry Christmas!

Thanks guys!
So I apologize for not posting for a very long time, in fact I haven't posted for at least a week.
It's just that my owner has to do a lot of homework and has a lot of outdoor school activities.
So this is just going to be a short apology post. (P.S tomorrow will be 12/12/12!)

New Member! And my History

Surprisingly, there's a new member on this blog! Say hello to

Nice profile pick, ;D. By the way, I followed your blog, it's great! And it's so amazing about how many members you have on ya blog! :D

So anyways, I just want to tell you about my history. I'm a European cream-colored Golden Retriever who was born from a father from Scotland named Stuart and a mother for Denmark named Emma. I apologize that I can't get a photo, it just won't let me, but I will describe how they look like.
Emma and Stuart both have a light, creamy golden color fur with dark caramel color ears.
My Aunt, Tess, had given birth to a celebrity Golden Retriever named Scout.

This was her when she was very young, now she's at least 3 years old! Anyways, she's a celebrity because her owner wrote a book my youngest master loves, The Puppy Diaries plus this author, Jill Abramson, is the executive editor of the New York Times, or was it the Times magazines?...  So yup, that is my only celebrity kin I have. My great grandma Sophie had died of a stroke and the old age of 14 (in my years, it would be at least 98 years old). My Aunt Tess, the mother of Scout, had died of eating a sock that couldn't get pulled out.
So yup, that's my history! Thanks covnitkepr1 for following my blog!

A Follower! :D And Christmas

Well, my blog already has a member! Say hello to....

stvplyr! Thanks so much for following my blog!
Btw, nice profile pic, would be fit for a place like me.

So anyways, it's already snowing at my owner's town, even though it's not even winter yet.

If I were that dog, I would look a lot like that, hyper and crazy. In fact, I was very hyper in the snow at the park today, I kept on eating the snow off the ground and jumping up and down and nearly pouncing onto my owner!
Soon, I got to play with this Golden-Doodle, a mix of a Golden Retriever (my Breed) and a poodle. We were chasing after these tennis balls, the doodle kept on beating me though. But I didn't mind, I had fun at least.
And on this game my youngest owner plays, Chicken Smoothie (, her friend (or at least I think) had made a banner of just for me and her.
By accident her friend had wrote a Labrador Retriever instead of Golden Retriever, anyways, here's a look!

Hehe, that dog looks a lot like me. By the way, doesn't a Golden Retriever like me have long hair unlike the Lab Retriever? Must have been a mistake, but at least it looks a lot like me!

Have a great day!

Peter's Birthday

Well today is my birthday! I'm celebrating my first birthday with my owner too!
They already gave me a birthday present, a blue squeaky bone with small ropes attached to it. It's a bit like a stuffed toy. It was a but like this(but try to picture it with ropes on the end of each side):

It was fully blue though and on it, it said: 'I'm kind of a big deal.'
It's pretty funny, it mean's I'm kind of a big shot.
And for a treat, they bought me two dog bones filled with some kind of chicken treat.
So far, I had a great time, playing with toys, eating favorite food, and lots more.
This is a good start to my very first birthday :)

The American Eskimo

Today at the park, I saw an American Eskimo!

It's known to be circus dogs, and unlike my type of breed, they're not born to be a retriever.

Whenever the owner threw the ball from his Chuckit! stick, I also ran along with the American Eskimo.
It was so fun.......................

So anyways, this is a very short post since there isn't much new in my dog-life.

What are an unusual day

Today was a fairly unusual day, for the most of the day I was in the car and sleeping until my owner came

Yes, I was very bored. But at the pet store today, I got a tennis ball scooper. My older owner wouldn't let XxSilverMockingJayxX use in the house.

Don't worry, this is how a tennis ball scooper. So yeah, that was my day! Staying in the car, sleeping, and getting very very bored. Anyways

Day in the snow!

Today, my youngest owner had to go to school, but I didn't mind! I had a great time!
Plus, it was snowing! :D :D :D

On normal sunny or rainy days, I would often catch the ball and bring it back to my owner.
But the snow was SO fun! I was practically running in the snow the whole time

I didn't want to stop, then my and my oldest owner walked another round in the snow and finally, we left. I won't forget this AWESOME day! My youngest owner people call XxSilverMockingJayxX, says that in late November or in early December, it will snow like crazy! And will get super thick! I can't wait!!!! Anyways

Wednesday, November 7, 2012

Well, at my owner's part of the U.S, it's snowing! And so far it's really fun!

Even though there was barely any snow pouring from the sky, it was still fun!
My owner walked me around to take me to the bathroom while it was snowing too!
The snow tasted very cold, but quenched my tight thirst when a snowflake landed on me.
Sadly, there was barely any snow, so there was no way I could play. But then I heard some good news from my younger owner, known as XxSilverMockingJayxX, that after at least 19 hr. of snow pouring out of the sky, there will be a chance that the snow will be thick as 6-12 inches!

A Day Off Tomorrow!

Today I learned that my owner is going to stay in from school tomorrow because of Election Day!
I'm so happy! Then when me an my owner and dad go to the park tomorrow, she will come along!

And then we will see a lot of the same old friends as we walk a long, but then my owner and my friend has to go to Kumon and leave me behind though:(
So yeah, that's all I want to say about what will happen tomorrow with my owner!
Bye bye!:)

At the Nail Clippers

Today I went to the the pet store to get my nails cut. I was scared that they might cut into my quick.

Once I entered the pet shop, I saw a chubby black pug, staring at me.
I barked 'Hello' to it as my leader walked me off.
Once I entered, I saw a big fluffy curly dog getting blow-dryed, and a beagle barking and panting at the same time.
While the man cut my nails I calmly, and patiently, waited for it to end. After about 3-5 minutes, it was done. While going to the register to let my master's mother pay, I saw a 2-year old American Golden Retriever,  with a round thing snout (like all American Golden Retrievers) and brownish-golden color fur.
Then I saw the black pug again.

I barked again at it, but it just stared at me blankly. Then my owner just smiled at the pug
and petted it.
So anyways that was my day!

In The Bath (The Disaster)

Today was the first day Peter took a bath, it was pretty bad, he tried escaping out of the bath and even walked out really wet, we had to coax him back using some treats.
We didn't add the conditioner since he was too impatient and wanted to get out really quickly.
Even though this isn't him he practically looked like this:

But Peter is much huger than this. Super wet. Then we used a towel to dry him up.
After driving him, we had to blow dry him he didn't like it at all either so we (AGAIN) had to coax him with the treats again. After that we brushed him, which was a bit calmer, right now he still smells.
And he smells really bad. Now I learned 2 things Peter dislikes:
The Bath Tub

and the dog cage:

Yeah, he hates the cage. When we put him in the crate he whined, now he sleeps on my blanket since the other dog beds easily broke. By the way this isn't Peter, but this dog looks A LOT like him.
But Peter has darker color...
Now Peter is resting on the floor, not aware of the sound around him. So he is... sleeping.

What did I do today?..

Today Peter spent a lot of time in the car.
Because of the Mock Presidential Debate and my skating practice.
They both don't allow dogs in there, and I think he got pretty impatient, even when he is a very very calm dog.
So yeah, he slept a lot in the car too.. since he was very very bored.
I took him for a walk, so I took 2 hours (or 1 hour) off school since I then had a doctor appointment.
The doctor says that I'm really healthy.
So yeah that's Peter's day! :)

Rainy day

While I was walking Peter in a park near my house, it was raining like crazy!
Before they said: "It's going to drizzle." But when I went outside with Peter to walk him, the 'drizzles' got heavier and heavier until we had to stay inside the car until the rain cloud moved north.

Sorry if this is a bad picture, I just copied this from the computer.
And even thought Peter is an 11 month old here's a picture of an 8-9 week old:

ANd now compare it with Peter:

Yeah, he's pretty big, but hey that's what Golden Retrievers are!
I'm going off topic here, anyways

Few More

Here are some more pictures of Peter sleeping, or lying down and trying to fall asleep when he can't.

He doesn't have the dog bed yet since the other dog beds got easily broken so we returned them :P
This is in my room by the way.

He looks weird that way, but he's just yawning since all he wants to do is sleep but then wakes himself up.
He loves to sleep near the stairs sometimes.

And this is him sleeping near the stairs, but by accident I woke him up from the flash of my camera. o.o
Please forgive me. And yes, he is near the stairs but don't worry, he won't fall down but just lie down.

Right now he's wearing his blue bandanna.
and walking around randomley.

Sorry for not posting for so long

Well this is a picture of the Golden Retriever, Peter, if you want to see it:

Yep, I took a picture of him a few minutes ago.
He's an 11 month old and turning 1 year old next month.
We adopted him from a local Golden Retriever Breeder.
This breeder tried to keep him for a breeding program, but she didn't since she couldn't.
So then the breeder put him for adoption, then we adopted him.
And that's how we got him :).
Anyways, See Ya!

Some things I want to tell

Heyo Jammers!
Well I need to tell you some things about Peter.
His mother is from Scotland and his father is from Denmark, so he's European.
He's a Golden retriever. And has a pale but will get golden color fur.
He hates his crate so he sleeps wherever he wants.
We take him outside at 5:00.. p.m but walk him at 8:00a.m
Loves to see new people and yeah
